I and my son had an interesting conversation the other day he was explaining that my generation which is millennials but for some reason, he thinks I am a boomer should work smarter not harder. In his mind hustling is how you get rich without putting in 40 hours a week until the day we die or retire whichever comes first. I said well son how does one become rich for us impaired boomers he said mom you gotta hustle.

I try to explain to my son who is all-knowing at (22) who feels working a regular job is not for him hustling is the way that is how you become rich, and live a more carefree life. I told him you keep thinking like that you gonna end up hustling your broke ass down to the unemployment office once those bills come a-knockin.

I think my son likes the idea of being a hustler but if you don’t have the work ethic to back it up it then you won’t succeed.

I on the other hand prefer both I work a regular 9–5 that ensures I have money and I hustle on the side. It is not as hard as most would think but not that easy either the trick is to find a 9–5 that utilizes the skills you enjoy using and find a suitable environment you enjoy being in. I say make what you need and nothing more I make what I need for what I enjoy doing and at the end of the day, I still have the passion to hustle.
