Giving F*cks left and right

I just finished reading The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck by author Mark Manson: and I was skeptical in choosing this as my next book since I figured not giving a f*ck was something I had pretty much down pat, so what could this book teach me. I stand corrected because apparently, I had a lot to learn. I would like to be clear about something first of all it’s not that I don’t give a fuck about anything and anyone because let’s face it we all care about something or someone, but after the past two years I found myself in a place where people, places and things no longer hold any value to my life. I was surprised to learn that it is not about the fucks you don’t give its about the value of the fucks you do give and choose wisely my friend because each of us only have so many to spare. The author requires you to question exactly how you are looking at everything and how do you decide who and what gets your attention or not. I will not give too much of the book away because I do believe it was worth a read, I will just mention the three lessons that struck me the most even though I learned way more than three.

Take reasonability not for what happens to you but how we respond to it. Let us face it no one has control over any of the shit that happens to us, but we do have a choice on how we let it dictate the rest of our lives.
